ViewNaija was founded by Ehi Binitie, Jude Idada and Michel Karera on October 1st 2007 and is registered in the state of Georgia in the United States of America as a Limited Liability Company. It was founded as a one stop shop for a wholesome Nigerian entertainment experience. It%uFFFDs mission is to bring Nigerians in the Diaspora to an entertainment forum where they can collectively share their self inspired work, in addition to having access to the socio-cultural mind space of the nation.
View Naija seeks to provide a new distribution method for Nigerian entertainment by giving a different spin on the Nigerian culture than what is currently presented in the mainstream media. At the same time it will provide a means of further educating the world on the rich cultural heritage that is Nigerian. It will also serve as a web portal for the sourcing of skilled talent for third party entities and thus provide a veritable database and an advertisement outlet for firms that are interested in doing business with Nigerians both locally and in the Diaspora.
